Eco Wave Power, a leading wave energy developer, has announced its participation in a newly approved €2.45 million project aimed at deploying wave energy technology along the Atlantic coast.The project, which has received funding from the European Unions Horizon 2020 research and innovation program, will focus on developing and testing a new wave energy converter system that can withstand the harsh conditions of the Atlantic Ocean.The project, titled "Atlantic Power Cluster for Ocean Energy," will bring together a consortium of partners from Spain, Portugal, France, and Ireland to work towards the deployment of wave energy technology in the Atlantic region.Eco Wave Power will be responsible for developing the wave energy converter system, which will be installed at a test site off the coast of Portugal.
